Natalie CederquistAbout the Artist

Natalie Levin

Natalie is an award-winning artist who sculpts with passion.
Her artwork is a mirror of her spiritual journey.  She has been told that her sculptures seem to have a soul, and  “speak” as if they were alive. She continues to sculpt inspirational visions and offer them as gems from her soul’s journey.

Born in 1960 and raised in California, Natalie began drawing and painting in childhood.  She received commissions and outstanding achievement awards in school for her art, attending life-drawing classes since she was 13.  While still a teenager, she enrolled at UC Davis for a year to study with SF Bay Area painter Wayne Thiebaud and sculptor Robert Arneson.  Natalie received her BA with high honors in Fine Art from UC Santa Barbara.

Along the way, Natalie has studied with many fine artists, including colorist Wolf Kahn and Spanish impressionist Sebastian Capella.
She was honored with the “Best of Show” purchase award at the La Jolla International Art Exhibition in 1996 for her sculpture “Bodysuit”.

From 1986-1999 Natalie ran her own graphic design business doing portraits, illustration, murals, and computer designed graphics in San Diego.

Over several years, her and her husband traveled to many of the World‘s sacred sites and temples, from which she was drawn to sculpt Buddhas and figures in meditation.  A profound spiritual experience occurred after pilgrimages to India, which led her to sculpt several of the Hindu deities.

It was after studying with master sculptor Richard MacDonald in 2009 that she began making bronzes from her clay sculptures.

Natalie feels blessed to be able to pursue her art, yoga and meditation...weaving healing and wellness into all she does, and in that way, hopefully making the world a more peaceful place.

Natalie’s sculptures are in private collections around the world.
